Ensemble Eroica is at the core of our organisation. Delivering crisp performances of cleverly programmed repertoire, the rotating roster of musicians who perform in our engaging young orchestra are top players from around the world who have come to the UK to pursue careers in the most vibrant and competitive classical music environment: London.
As described by Chief Music Critic Evening Standard Barry Millington, after attending the second of the three-concert series Eroica performed at Kings Place in 2016, "the playing of these accomplished young musicians was precisely articulated but at the same time radiated a sense of sheer joy in music-making."
Of the first concert in the series, Samuel Peter of the CutCommon publication stated "considering the sheer volume of talent on display, spearheaded by an engaging and enthusiastic conductor, one cannot overstate the achievement of Glorious Wine. The ensemble stands out as one of the most impressive new ventures for young musicians, and with two more performances at Kings Place, and another in St Martin in the Fields scheduled for this year, they can only go from strength to strength."
We very much intend to do just that. Please see our Season Calendar for future performances from all branches of our organisation.
